First time here?

It can be scary to walk into a new church for the first time!

You walk in with all sorts of questions - Where do I go? Where do my kids go? Will they be safe? What will everyone else be wearing? Will there be coffee? What if they sing songs I don't know? Are they expecting me to give in the offering?

Here at Faith Church we want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door.  Below are the answers to a few of those potential questions. We hope you feel free to check us out and comfortable enough to give us a chance.  We want you to know that no matter where you have come from and where you are on your spiritual journey, we want to come alongside to inspire, equip and encourage you to live out a life that will bring glory to God and be a blessing to the world.

what to expect:

  • Service starts at 10:30am.  You may want to arrive around 10:20 to allow enough time to come in and get seated.
  • When you first walk into the entry way you will find complimentary coffee.  You are welcome to bring your coffee in the sanctuary with you.
  • If you have children preschool aged through 6th grade, you'll find our Faith Kids check-in desk to the right.  Our volunteers will be eager to meet you and will have a brief form for you to fill out.  Your child will receive a name tag and you will be given a tag that matches your child's given number.  This helps us to be able to notify you should your child need something during the service. Faith Kids programming runs the duration of the service and your children will be with adult volunteers who have been background checked and trained to provide a safe, nurturing environment for kids.
  • If you have children younger than preschool aged, you'll find our nursery to the left.  We have volunteers who are happy to hold and play with your little one or you are welcome to stay with them if you'd rather.  The nursery has windows into the sanctuary so you can participate in the service while in the comfort of the nursery.
  • Our middle and high school students either serve in one of the ministry areas on Sunday morning or sit in the worship service.  Youth group programming is on Sunday afternoons from 4:44 - 6:30 pm.
  • You'll find restrooms clearly marked to the left of the entryway.
  • You'll enter the sanctuary directly from the entryway.  Please feel free to sit wherever you will be most comfortable!
  • Our service will begin with announcements and then continues on for worship.  We sing contemporary, upbeat songs and project the words onto a large screen upfront so everyone can sing along.  Worship is then followed by a time of prayer and a message.  Service typically runs between 60-90 minutes.
  • We don't pass an offering plate.  We have offering boxes located in the back of the sanctuary and we have an iPad available for online giving. We are supported by our many faithful givers and we invite you to be a part of our worship service without feeling any obligation to give.
  • Don't forget to pick up your children.  Faith Kids volunteers will only release children to an adult who has the child's security tag that corresponds with the child's name tag.
  • Pastor Tom and Pastor CJ are typically in the lobby or under the carport after service and would love to meet you!  Please stop and say hi on your way out.
